Character

History

As one of the last remaining Fjior ice dragons left in the world, his father constantly barrages him with potential suitors that would "fit his personality" and to "help maintain the purity of the bloodline". Seeing that, as one of the longest living dragon species out there, Noel is in no rush at all to find a mate, and generally has been enjoying his time exploring the world learning of new cultures instead of finding a suitor.

Living in Isolation

Fjior dragons did not like to interact much with the outside world, given their nature of personality and habitat range, and so communicating or intermingling with other individuals of other races was not something commonly seen.

Noel did not really care much to learn about the outside world on a first hand experience. Learning and reading from books and eventually the internet would provide him all that he really needed to know about other individuals and what was changing in the world. His father wasn't generally the type to allow him outside anyways given his protective nature, but staying home always in their domain was coming to a close...

Venturing Outside

Father was not pleased when he learned that his second child could not bear him a child. The Fjior race was soon ending, and the only individuals who were able to "breed" were his children. The other Fjior dragons were either already too old, had children that were of mixed race that could not bear the ice elements, or chose to not have children.

However, Noel's father was not the type to forcefully push his children into doing something that he wanted, aside from staying home, of course. He urged Noel to explore the world to find someone of potential, occassionally hinting that he wanted Noel to find a partner that was ice-compatible.

Noel, after being suddenly forced into exploring the world, could care less about finding someone and more forced to learn and adapt to the changing environments. From growing up in a secluded environment, this type of freedom was intimidating... but exciting.

Trivia

His last name, Fynjikor, is pronounced as FIN-YE-GOUR. The k in his name is a weird mix between a soft k and a hard g. The r is almost nonexistent, with a slight roll at the end.

Dragons of his species mature at 300-400 years old. They are one of the longest living dragon species and are known for their majestic looks and fearsome power, yet are the slowest to mature and slow to situations in general.

You will often find Noel with "barely" any clothes in the cold because he is, well, an ice dragon. Even when it's sweltering hot outside, he is able to create a thin layer of cooler air that evelopes his body, so even then, he does not get too hot.

His heels are made of ice. When they make contact with the ground, cool wisps of frost form and delicate patterns are born, quickly removed from existence as the frost dissipates in the higher temperature. In snow, he is able to walk on top with small divets in place of frost.

He has two elder sisters. Both failed to produce offspring, much to his father's sadness and acceptance.

Noel eventually falls for a fire dragon. Papi is not pleased.

Style: Born from an aristocratic family, Noel was taught manners and courtesy. This means that Noel would rather fight under diplomatic terms rather than physical violence, but will opt to use his hands if necessary, freezing things on contact. His kicks are more powerful than his hands, and coming into contact with his heel adds additional damage in piercing capabilities and frostbite. Incredibly flexible and swift, Noel makes a hard target to hit in close combat.

Dragon Capabilities: Noel is able to transform into a large dragon, adorned with sleek fur on the outside and a soft undercoat on the inside, with four massive wings. Noel has an icy breath that freezes things given enough time, and his powerful claws and tail add emphasis.
