Muse, the child of Behemoth and Sonata, embodies the rare and powerful balance of the Moon and Sun’s total eclipse—a moment of perfect alignment and profound transformation. He is said to be the child of perfection, meticulously crafted by Sonata to be the ideal heir alongside his sister, Breve. Together, they represent the pinnacle of Sonata’s vision for the Imperial Shingetsu Theatre and her legacy.

Muse’s appearance is heavily inspired by cowboy culture—specifically the distinct style that emerged from Siniro, a western-influenced region within Atereon lore. Drawn to the bold silhouettes, layered textures, and symbolic motifs of the culture, Muse has fully embraced its aesthetic, mixing it with elements from Mizuneze culture. He’s even adopted a soft southern accent that slips naturally into his speech. Though his take on cowboy fashion is anything but traditional, he’s an unabashed fanboy for it, and may or may not own an extensive collection of Siniro-based memorabilia. Muse’s style blends glam rock flamboyance with an eerie, otherworldly flair, walking the razor’s edge between allure and unease. His outfits are ornate and star-studded, often combining animal prints, flowing fabrics, and bold celestial patterns. There’s always a theatrical edge to how he dresses—whether it’s wide-legged pants stitched with swirling cloud motifs or his cloak and accessories adorned with shifting, eye-like designs that seem to watch from the fabric. The result is a look that feels like a cosmic outlaw stepping out of a haunted VHS tape—radiant, strange, and unforgettable. Eerie, swirling smoke pours from his gemstone and abilities, lingering in his wake like a ghost. Even his hair evokes this haunting quality, its visual flow inspired by the SHA from Mists of Pandaria, adding another layer of mesmerizing menace to his presence.

Muse is a radiant force of charisma and cleverness, known for his outgoing nature and captivating presence both on and off the stage. Ambitious by heart, he thrives in the spotlight, constantly pushing the limits of his artistry and personal style. Muse is as cunning as he is curious, often digging into lore, history, and hidden meanings behind the roles he plays—especially in his performances at the Imperial Shingetsu Theatre, a grand venue founded by his mother. As a kabuki actor, he shares the stage with his sister, Breve, delighting and mesmerizing guests within Mizundai with elaborate performances that blend traditional theater with his own glam-rock, cosmic horror flair. Beneath his dazzling exterior lies a sharp and calculating mind, always observing, always thinking—making him both a performer and a mystery in his own right.

Despite the outward confidence and the carefully maintained image of control, there’s a flicker of something more restless beneath the surface—an ambition not entirely shaped by his mother’s wishes, but by his own curiosity and hunger for mastery. Muse is clever and cunning, always seeking new ways to captivate and surprise, blending tradition with subtle innovation. He’s driven by more than just duty; he’s hungry to carve his own mark, to become a legend whose name will be spoken long after the final curtain falls. But for now, his world remains tightly intertwined with the stage and the mission Sonata entrusted him with—an ideal son, a prodigy crafted for brilliance, and the living heart of the Imperial Shingetsu Theatre.

Muse and Breve are often hailed as the ideal children—perfect reflections of Sonata’s legacy, seamlessly sharing the stage as if their performances were destined to intertwine. Yet beneath this polished exterior, their personalities couldn’t be more at odds. Muse is cold and calculating, his ambition razor-sharp and his methods ruthless, unhesitant to cross moral boundaries if it means achieving his goals. Breve, though she too harbors darkness and cunning, has begun to question the path they tread. Her growing curiosity about their father and the mysterious other family Muse adamantly refuses to acknowledge has driven a wedge between them. Breve seeks answers and perhaps a way to redefine her future, but Muse remains indifferent and unyielding. Should he ever come face to face with a sibling from that hidden branch of the family, there would be no hesitation—Muse would see them as a threat to be eliminated. For him, nothing must interfere with the pursuit of perfection or the role Sonata crafted him to play.

Muse’s presence is as haunting as it is mesmerizing—his abilities a terrifying extension of his cold, ruthless nature. From his back emerge two sets of gleaming gem-like appendages, sharp and deadly, often used to stab with surgical precision. Hidden beneath his thick hair are countless eerie eyes, watching silently, always alert, while his grin reveals rows of shark-like teeth, unsettling and predatory. When he unsheathes his imperial claws, his attacks become even more devastating, a blur of lethal precision. On the battlefield—or the stage transformed into one—Muse can summon a chilling fog that blankets the area in an unnatural haze, warping reality itself. In this shifting mist, the environment bends to his will, turning into a haunting province that traps his foes within his realm, a world where he alone controls the rules. Once caught inside, there is no escape—this is Muse’s domain, and those who enter must face his cold, unyielding judgment.

Muse is not merely a performer, nor solely the child of legacy—he is the eclipse made flesh: rare, striking, and impossible to ignore. Though he enjoys the stage and the art of performance, it is not his sole purpose. What truly drives him is harder to name—a mix of ambition, control, and the satisfaction of enacting his will with elegance and precision. He is a son shaped by expectations and secrecy, forged to be the embodiment of perfection, yet unbothered by bloodlines or sentiment. Detached, cunning, and eerily composed, Muse walks through life as though already playing a part only he understands. And whether the lights are up or the battlefield is swallowed by his fog, one thing remains certain: Muse never acts without intent—and in his world, intent is everything.
