About...

The name 'Galen' means "calm", but for such a large being, he is quite cowardly and shy. Since he spends so much time in whiteout conditions, he doesn't see many other people or creatures which is why he tends to hide himself within his mask. But once he becomes comfortable with his friends, he becomes quite the jokester. Uchiki always begs him to come hang out on the beach, but both Hoshibuki fear each others' regions. Mostly Kyofu, who can't stand the heat of the coast... even when he trims his fur!

He bonds with Kyoka over the wonderful feeling of a hotspring, but will retreat back to the snowcap of the mountains when things become much too hot. Since Kyoka is already known by nickname as "Kyo", Kyofu will sometimes go by "Fu". Playing in the snow is his favorite passtime and Fu himself will often build igloos and small ice shelters for travellers. He is very humble, kind and hospitable to anyone who dares venture up the dizzying heights of his mountain.

Original Description by Snappy: A Hoshibuki who manifested within the powdery solitude of the snow-capped Mountains; white-out conditions often with bodies of water icy blue or black with the numbing temperatures. Despite the dangerous detail, where this Hoshibuki may still live— they are surrounded by beautiful scenic paradise. Crisp air, hot soups and small villages full of warming baths or hospitality... and when the time comes to travel down or across the Ocean to the Forest region, they groom their coat; trimming it a very short length so overheating isn't an issue. As all Gelid-types who participate in trimming to travel, once your coat grows back it's time to head home unless you trim it again!
