a cat with a wild, untamed fluffy mane & orange fur that shines like fire in the sunlight. messy, scarred & feral, her very appearance breathes fierceness, a tell-tale symbol of her personality. her eyes glow a bright yellow, pulsing with light, always carrying a crazed sort of expression that communicates her ferocity. she keeps her claws unsheathed, fangs shown off through her snarl of a smile, as though she’s always trying to intimidate– perhaps she’s compensating for something, but there’s no true way to tell…

solar: energy radiated by the sun. she was given this name in part inspired by her appearance, and in part because she was quite the energetic kit– an energy that still pulses through her veins as a warrior.

flare: a sudden, brief burst of bright flame or light. she was given this suffix at her warrior ceremony to represent her fiery temperament, her hot-headed nature shining through her very name.

feisty, blunt, sarcastic & sharp-witted. has a manic sort of energy to her, never quite able to slow down, to stop and smell the roses. tells things like they are, unafraid to speak her mind even in situations where it’ll get her in trouble. restless and spirited, a bit of a rebel, with a level of spunk that makes her seem almost untouchable– but beneath the surface, perhaps that fiery nature of hers is masking some deep-seated insecurity, a vulnerability that she’ll stop at nothing to hide.

solarflare was orphaned at a young age, had only her older sibling to stick to for protection. the two of them practically raised themselves, those first few moons– until their sibling fell victim to a wild dog attack, leaving solarflare all by her lonesome, surviving in the wilderness with nobody to rely on. she was only around apprentice-age at the time, and with nowhere else to turn, she begged a ragtag group of pseudo-clan wandering rogues to take her in, in exchange for a promise that she holds close to this day– that one day, when she’s old enough to be a warrior, she’ll be the fiercest of them all, and return the care she was given tenfold by protecting her group at all costs.

she fancies herself a bit of an atheist, but keeps this fact under wraps from the rest of her clanmates. no doubt that she’d be in deep trouble were her faith to be questioned, and she quite likes the crowd she’s surrounded herself with, so she does her best to go along with their beliefs… although her bluntness lets some of her true ideals slip from time to time.
