Ripcurl is an Autobot soldier with a spirit as free as the waves he surfs. Although he often works alone on his missions, he's always quick to lend a helping hand to the Autobot cause when it comes to defending the Earth and its beautiful nature.
He didn't always work alone, though. Millennia ago, he was part of a spy duo with his fellow soldier and best friend, Moondancer. The two were always eager to work together to help the Autobot cause, carrying out spy missions and gathering vital intel to help the Autobots. Unfortunately, it didn't stay that way ... Ripcurl refuses to talk about it, but his increasing distrust in those around him gives his fellow soldiers a clue on what might have happened.
Being a surfer, Ripcurl is extremely beneficial to the Autobots when it comes to missions near bodies of water. He's extremely skilled at fighting and maneuvering himself underwater, and he has the added benefit of his frame being able to last much longer underwater than a normal Autobot's.
