Olivia is the epitome of failgirl. She is shy, clumsy, easily overwhelmed, and extremely anxious; but she is an absolute sweetheart. Her fashion sense hasn’t moved much since 2016, but she doesn’t feel like replacing her clothes when they fit her well. She has a close-knit group of friends from secondary school, but she’s struggled to make friends in college.

One day, she was struggling with a homework assignment and screamed out loud in her study room in the library. A student worker, Elliot, burst in, and she was embarrassed and apologized profusely to them. Seeing what she was struggling with, Elliot offered to help tutor her, and she quickly and gratefully agreed.

Through their study sessions, Olivia quickly finds she is growing feelings for them, but she pushes it down. Having never been in a real relationship before, Olivia preferred to fantasize about romance in her head than deal with the real deal. This crush was the first time she found it difficult to separate the fantasy from a desire to make it reality.

Elliot invited her out more and more in the spring even after she’d finished the class in the fall, and Olivia found it hard to survive with the weight of her feelings. One day, while in the library, Elliot catches her off guard with a confession of his own. They ask her out, and she happily says yes :3
