Zenin was born into the Eldein clan, led by his father Daryl. Daryl pushed Zenin through grueling training, prioritizing the clan’s reputation over his son’s well-being. Zenin felt suffocated by his father’s expectations, but couldn’t bring himself to rebel. At 7, he met Kenji, a non-clan boy, on a rare outing. Daryl had reluctantly allowed Zenin to leave the mansion, and he was exploring when he heard a boy crying. Curious, Zenin approached the noise, noticing an entity in near kenji, appearing to comfort him. Instinct led Zenin to intervene, exorcising the entity. Kenji, upset and defensive, fought back trying to protect it, but Zenin overpowered him. As Kenji struggled beneath him, Zenin explained that those things are dangerous, and his duty was to eliminate such beings. but Kenji’s defense and claims of the entity’s harmlessness sparked curiosity. Zenin, didnt take him seriously, so he stuck by the boy to protect him from trying to befriend another, which he did but slowly they both started to get along and even become friends, kenji would talk him to death about entitys and he’d beg zenin to tell him more about them since he knew so much from his clan. And he did just that, kenji had seemed really interested in entitys so, whenever zenin finished up with training, he’d go out and and talk about them with kenji, he’d later on tell how he’d been taught to view them as threats, but when Zenin would exsorsie some they hardly ever fight back, and they seemed more nice than dangerous. So zenin began to pity them, but he knew he couldn’t back out of his duty’s in the Eldein clan. Zenin and kenji would meet daily, discussing Zenin’s clan and experiences. Kenji’s curiosity about the clan fascinated Zenin, and their friendship deepened. At 16, zenin reached a breaking point. His father’s harsh treatment and only looking at zenin for power, and being forced into a horrible duty all his life broke him, so he finally murdered his father, Daryl. He had cut his neck off and showed it to the higher ups in the clan for proof. The higher ups was never fond of zenin, for his childish behavior, not listening to orders and his cocky attitude towards them, but as hard as they tried to cover it up, and frame it as someone else who killed Daryl, it failed every time, making zenin the clans new leader.
