emilio is human cyborg that's incredibly scarred, living and working on a mining planet on the far reaches of human territory. he was very brutally injured during a work accident in a refinery which resulted in the initial loss of his head, given a cheap mechanical replacement that his mind was uploaded to and sent off to work again. he then lost his arm in a separate incident, which wasn't replaced. this led to emil learning mechanics and becoming a sort of rudimentary bio-engineer, making himself a functional arm and becoming adept at creating robots. he's kind of tired of being organic, and eventually just wants to be a full machine, one part at a time. he managed to get his lower legs down, now he just... has a whole bunch of other shit to finish...
