Loola

Loola is a gentle soul who would rather hug than fight (but will certainly fight if the situation calls for it). She becomes fast friends with everyone she meets, whether they want her to or not, and has a huge heart that can be a weakness for her at times. She especially likes small creatures and loves to nurture them. A friendship with Loola is a friendship for life -- she is incredibly forgiving and trusting.

✦ Appearance

Loola is an enormous bear. An albino grizzly, she has bright white fur and pink skin beneath, as well as a pink nose. Her eyes are red. She has a mane of wild, long white hair around her head and neck that is braided in places and has many beads, bells, feathers, and other items woven into it. She sometimes sports a flower crown.

She wears an outfit that consists of a white top with long sleeves, a corset, a sash tied around her waist, and a draping skirt. With very bear-like anatomy she looks a little silly in her outfit, but she doesn't mind it.

Loola was born into a tribe of bears deep in a dense forest. Her pure white fur and bright red eyes terrified her family as soon as she was born -- albinism was a bad omen in their religion, a sign of terrible things to come. The shaman of her tribe took her from her parents and left her far, far away at the edge of the forest, hoping the "evil" within her could not reach back to their tribe.

Luckily, soon after she was left, a member of the secretive Order of the Night passed by and heard her cries. She was taken and adopted by the order, raised by their morals and values and trained to be one of their ranks. They raised her as a community, with many looking after her.

She was a sweet and helpful child with so much love to give, and the Order loved her despite her saccharine personality and usual pacifism. She was very eccentric, braiding trinkets and bells and feathers into her hair and wearing many earrings. She loved the melodic sound of the jewelry as it chimed against the sides of her face.

As she grew it was apparent that she was more of an artist than a fighter. She loved music, especially singing and playing the fife, so some of the Order members began to teach her the intricacies of bardic magic. She took to it very easily, though her natural inclination for magic of a psychologically damaging nature was a bit disturbing, especially measured against her sweet personality.

Eventually, fully grown (for a bear), she began to go out on missions for the Order. She had been with her team for several months, bonding with them quickly, before something went wrong on a mission that completely wiped them out. The only survivor, Loola has been distraught and wary to begin adventuring again, though she'll do so at the instruction of Nova.
