  • Loose: Gets himself tangled by various rope and fruit, while surrounded by cops/guards.

A mystical themed "street rat" thief from the Marchen Kingdom, inspired  by Aladdin and the Magical Lamp! Instead of the Arabic deserts and  bazaars,  the entire world is made out of cool hues, crystals,  mass-produced gold and symmetrical patterns! While he steels the royalty treasure, a rabbit-like prince somehow fell in love with Lasc and wants  to dance with him! The world's weaponry is surprisingly very advanced,  yet the lifestyle is economically struggling despite the pretty  aesthetics.

In Pop'n Music Crhythmin, he  was seeking for the Black Lapis, only to get himself stuck and must face  Nia or Toa in a Pop'n duel to activate his Lapis again!

He processes a blue diamond shaped lapis.

Other random PoMu universe stuff:

  • In one point from the world of Lapistoria, Lasc attempts to steel one of Lauli's merchendise, only to accidentally take the cursed pot that seals a spirit inside. He ends up returning it to Lazuli...
  • During his voyage at the Pop'n World, he got into a fight with 2ST and Shamshir, each from their representative territories.

Character Description

Lasc is a Were-Rat Myumon who had lost his entire family due to age an disease and all processions are all taken by the (greedy) land lords that he cannot defend and/or send into court. He ran away to a struggling orphanage and serves as the guardian that feeds the children by committing theft to the greedy marketers. Lasc is anti-social to those who are not from the orphanage with the exception of a wolf girl named Laur who he had bumped into during a heist. Laur being demanding to know about his grandparent's pendent, he tests her by forming a band and earn Sound Dollars to feed the shelter.

Personality

At first, Lasc is not a social guy with severe trust issues. The only people he trust are the children and their caretaker (dubbed "mom") at the orphanage and is swore to owe them back by showing hospitality and do acts that may be questionable to society.

When meeting Laur Myu'Na on accident and warming up to her (as a friend), he studers when speaking to her and tries to hide her face with the fluffy tip of his tail!

When talking with Rikao, he gets stunned when seeing his face. Why is unknown, but he admits that his face ain't scary. Laur is the first person to notice a tinted pink blush on his cheeks.

Background/History

At a very young age, Lasc had a financially stable family, living at a condo with moderate wealth and a background of family members who are business owners. His favorite member to speak with was his grandparent, who have "tall tales" about their past and how they somehow got a pendent that belonged to some wolf Myumon pack at United Sound City. Lasc loves to play various sports, sprint at the track and see who can be first place! He was a social child, but a naive one that would cost his bare family fortune. One by one as he grows up, he sees his mother died. Then his father. Then any trace of family blood from his deceased to the heavens. A lot is unknown. The last to be on the grave, his grandparent gave Lasc all of his jewelry pocessions, including the pendent. Slowly, his family background is crumbling and the land lords that owned the condo building took all of the riches away. Before Lasc may be cursed, he fled home and sprint his way to a homeless shelter full of children and a "guardian" who serves as the care taker.

With nothing left, he is left with the children to socialize with, and befriend the guardian. Slowly after he moved in, he took a great notice that greed from the government either not fund the orphanage or deduct all cost to keep the building a-float. With his sprinting and gymnastics abilities, he uses his skills and find the greedy Myumons that deserves "justice" via theft of non-currency goods such as food, clothes and house supplies.

During his time as a "Street Rat Thief", he finds Rikao and on-public announces a victim being of not guilty out on the streets, earning him another victory at his gurella "court". On Lasc's free time after seeing Rikao, he tends every court showing and studying Rikao's skill as a lawyer, hoping one day he can achieve such a job position. (Which that will never happen due to being broke for schooling.)

On other days, he tries to break up fights with the teenage Myumons, leading up to discovering DOKONJOFINGER and attended a concert after he find a dropped ticket. He loathes their fighting antics, but finds musical inspiration from their performances. This led to confessing to the guardian about his discovery and end up giving him their bass guitar "Desert Sun". His free time goal is to find bass lessons from Rikao.

One faithful day, Lasc was running away on a heist, and accidentally bumps into Laur Myu'Na. Out of panic, she ends up saving Lasc by suggesting a unique pathway out from the chase scene and able to return back to the orphanage. She took notice of his pendent, and refuses to share any background story! Realizing that she's a talented performer, he thought of forming a band (and living the dreams like Yokazenohoriozn or DOKONJOFINGER) in order to save the orphanage from potential bankruptcy and earn (free) publicity! This may reduce the habit of theft but the thrill of the race still remains on his mind.

"The Fox's Wedding" arc:

At one point after Lasc recruits his 4th member (Rhena) and the honorary guest (Ruhuyu), the land lords had sent a notice letter that if none of the children have found homes, they will seek investigation on the building's infrastructure and can deem dangerous for them to stay and move them to a bigger and more sturdier facility. If this were to happen, the Caretaker and Lasc could loose their positions and even banned from seeing the children again! With Astrotalgia becoming more of a band at first he wants to use their music to gain more attraction, but their efforts end up becoming the opposite. Devastated, a Ghost Dragon named Officer Ryunryun hovers over to Lasc out of curiosity and senses their "otaku" lens to Astrotalgia!

Officer Ryunryun's band "Shintenchi Kaizoku Yuurei Zigzig" is a independent band, not heavily reliable with any label and they work around by "vibing"! The band is also getting attraction thanks to their appearance at Puroland and Ryunryun's passion for "cool anime" made them want to attempt at directing one. Issue is that Ryunryun is no animation director, but is pretty good at making MVs! So they pitched Lasc a idea of a MV that is a part of a promotional pitch to the orphanage (and showing its good sides) and to help further attract the talent of "Shintenchi Kaizoku Yuurei Zigzig"! Captain Mikomiko and Able Seaman Marumaru seems to not mind, and so does the rest of Astrotalgia!

The plans of the MV is to showcase a typical "good morning" day of Lasc as he and his band mantes call together for a "hang out" at the orphanage, which will turn into a anime-like montage of the band mates remodeling the building, to go along with the song "The Fox's Wedding"! Ryunryun takes montage inspiration from a lot of Saturday Morning Anime that had a heavy use of montages, except to amp up the production!

Because the idea got a bit too ambitious, Ryunryun confidentially calls Rocker and Rameca to help with additional camera work and post-production editing!

The MV for "The Fox's Wedding" ended up being a happy, uplifting and motivation MV about waking up to a good day and re-make something beautiful and pleasing! (Especially since the orphanage needs a make-over for a long time!)

The MV end up being a huge success thanks to the collab effort, and Mikomiko FINALLY remembers of a memory with  Ryunryun and Marumaru when they're living Myumons, and somehow befriends a neighboring pirate ship that has a huge ancestry ties to Lasc, and apparently at one point met a certain wolf Myumon tribe tie in to Laur's ancestry. Unfortunately, this is all now a memory and any remaments are likely under sea. Lasc did have hope and might use their vacation to go treasure hunt for his family inheritance treasure and hopefully to find more information about Laur's family.

Body:

Myumon form: Fur is pretty much like his gijinka form. Were-Rat parts are also visible.
Humanoid form: Like reference shown (not the Pop'n version). Cultural race is unknown.

Clothing

Lasc obtains his default clothes from the shelter after he "moved in" when his last family member passed away. A lot were donated by the locals, and he took on the motif of his childhood Arabian Nights story: Aladdian and the Magic Lamp. He made sure that the clothes are flexible and light enough to sprint!

Accessories

He owns a couple of accessories that were passed down by his family before they were all deceased. One valuable item was a necklace that belonged to his grandparent, likely belong to one of the "wolf pack" from Laur Myu'Na's tribe over a hundred years ago. He will never let go of it even if Laur asks nicely.

Lasc has more than one stories, depending on the universe. Yes, that means that he will have a ton of different costumes or fashion choices depending on said universe. He was a birthday gift from a very good friend of mine, and I intend to give as much love to this creation as possible!

His name came from a rhyme for "FLASH" by Perfume, and I wanted a name that sound like "Lask" or "Flask". I had to check out names.org for the name origin, and surprisingly there's not a lot of information, and only five real humans are born with this name! :O

He is never intended to be a Aladdin clone, nor born Arabic. He either was born dressed like this, or somehow came from a world where these Arabian Nights fantasy settings takes place.
