Aoki's family has been in alliance with The Gilded Kingdom for eons, long before even Eros' time. Each new member of royalty is born a private guard is assigned to them for the rest of their life. While its estimated that Aoki is the same age as Eros they never actually met until Eros was old enough to take the throne. Nonetheless, Aoki is loyal to Eros and will go to great lengths to make sure he is not only safe but also understand the morally grey areas of their job where Eros may need certain people taken out of the equation. This is rare if never though, and yet, Eros never visibly sees Aoki a majority of the time when they're doing their job, only when Aoki is summoned do they appear. Truly a mysterious fellow.
