A peaceful young monk caught up in an ancient ritual to free a vengeful god- he'd intended to sacrifice himself to stop it. Instead, he corrupted the ritual, preventing the god from returning, but instead gaining its infinite and tortured memories.
With a shattered sense of self, he became convinced the ritual had worked and he assumed the mantel of the god, seeking followers and power, corrupting any part of Ori's humanity and kinder memories.
His most loyal follower is a paladin, Evrin, having broken his oath to his original god, he's sworn himself to Ori.

There are pangs of who he was once, desperately warring against his new violent impulses. But who is he to question his actions when Evrin believes in him so deeply?
