story

EARLY LIFE

Dr. Kato Feng started out as a kind man, being born and raised in the smaller village areas along the North-East Mountain range. Being born as an exceptional genius, he was quickly expected to achieve greatness by his closest.
Feng ended up spending his early life to help other people, starting out as a local doctor in the "lesser developed" areas

Living in the part of the continent with the lowest status among humans, the land Feng grew up in was more prone to monster attacks and raids by superior men and humanoids. Despite his wish for helping others, he would more often find himself in troublesome situations. Having to experience several close death encounters with the evils of this world, witness the death and destreuction it could bring. Feng grew especially spiteful to the magical parts of the world, as it only seemed to bring pain and agony to him. He turned more annoyed by his work, starting to wish for more praise. He started to believe people didnt appreciate his work enough, after pushing him so hard in this direction. Nothing was enough and he had to get better at everything

AETHER CORP & THE WIELDERS OF MÍMISBRUNNR

Around his 20th birthday he crossed path with Aether Corporation, after a grim Cambion attack on his home village. Aether Corp was knonw to bring modern tools and weaponry against supernatrual beings. Only Feng saw a side not publicly known about the Corp. With a more futuristic look than the medieval feeling of this land, as the strangers had captured the half-demons, he was introduced to the Wielders of Mímisbrunnr. The cult had acquired knowledge far greater than any other. Using Aether Corp as a public decoy, the true organization worked with futuristic tech to find a way to turn superior among the species in these realms.

Crossing path with Aether Corp, or more so The Wielders, eventually led Feng to absolute madness
Slowly binding his life to the cult and corporation, he quickly rised through the ranks. Eventually getting the gift that had turned these people into devine intellectuals; The water of Mímisbrunnr. Also known as Mímir's well, drinking from its water would give great knowledge and brain power. With knowledge far greater than any other, Doctor Feng soon got the opportunity to specialize in previous unobtainable expertises. With such advanced tools and creations, Feng specialized himself in two new subjects: bioengineering and cybernetic physics. He would quickly become a lead scientist in the team working on DNA splicing and modifying, in their attempt to create their own monsters and enhancements of personal use.

The Doc did well for a while, but the more he worked with mystical beings, the more spiteful he got. To a point where he found humans to be such useless and imperfect beings, in need of desperate improvments. In a world filled with beasts and superior humanoids, humans was left with little powers compared to others. Feng found it an unfair and cruel fate left from the gods. Using the data he collected from the organisations's experiments, he would soon start on his own personal projects; Finding a way to improve the human body and soul

Letting it go so far to replace his own body parts to create a "perfect" human being. Taking the first step in creating the next level of human evolution, in order to make them once again the more superior being

THE COUNT

Dr. Feng spent a few years being a part time medical doctor and a scientist at Aether Corp.
However, as Feng once went on an expedition to capture more specimen for the corporation, he would soon meet someone that would eventually change his life even more. The group had tracked down a rare, powerful species; the monstrous shapeshifter known as Xenogèn. Unlucky for the team, it wasn't just an ordinary one. They had faced the Count.

The team suffered a fatal failure, but the Count had found an interest in the Doc. At this point Dr. Feng had started on his body modifications, which  Count Bowyer was able to notice. Despite Feng's discomfit over the situation, Bowyer kept in touch. As time passed Feng couldn't help but easen up and grow a mutual respect to the xeno. Developing an interest for Bowyer's ideals made him eventually start working under the very thing he hated the most. Starting with lending out advise and tools for the Coun't followers.

THE BANISHMENT

As time went, Feng would give off more time to the Count. Even giving his advise on Bowyer's vengful attack on the Käärmeen's land. Breaking off his past life bit by bit, he would dig deeper into his own work at Aether Corp, and assist Bowyer in growing his following.

However, thing got more complicated when the Count met his doom. The previous King Käärmeen had gone as deep as Count Bowyer in the search of power and was once again back for a rematch. By the hand of von Käärmeen, the clash led both xenogéns to get banished to the Underworlds. Leaving only a remnant of the vile xenos army left.

With his master gone, Feng left his Doctor degree to fully invest in his work. He kept working hard to accomplish success among his experiments and body modifications at Aether Corp. After some time, even attempting to figure out a way to get back in touch with the Count. Along his research to find components to his body augmentation project, he managed to track down the Käärmeen King's missing niese. Unfortunate, one of Aether's hunter teams got to her first, but it didn't stop Feng from taking the lead role of the experiments planned for the youngster. Personally using the young Käärmeen as a guinea pig for his own personal experiments as well.

Eventually Feng got back in touch with the Count. When the Count found out that Feng had been experimenting on his greatest enemy's niese, he demanded the Doctor to find a way to bring her to him. An event that would eventually go terribly wrong.
Aether had already been suspicious on Feng lately as it was, not quite approving his mysterious personal experiments and secret contacts. Dr Feng would try to sabotage the Käärmeen's niece's containment, in order to get her out and captured. Despite knowing very well how risky it was and how it could go horribly wrong. If it wasn't for the alert guards of the facility he would had succeed. However it was far from truth. The disruption from the guards was enough for everything to go south. The niese, now a highly unstable agglomeration of mutations, broke free. Bringing a rampage that caused massive destruction to the facility, the niese managed to escape and disappear. This was the last straw for the Corporation's lead. The lead sent its security after Feng, but the smart Doctor had expected this to happen when he got caught. By the time they arrived to Feng's lab, the Doctor had already found out a way to make a portal to Tartarus. During these uncertain times, Feng had learned certain occult and infernal spells to get back in touch with his master. Escaping with his research, he chose to rather flee to Hell's prison realm. Staying there in the protection of the Count

CURRENT STATE

Despite failing to bring the niese to Count Bowyer, as well trapping himself in Tartarus, he was still kept around by the Count. Lucky for the Doctor, the Count still saw his potential.

Doctor Feng would eventually become one of Count Bowyer's main Henchmen, along with Jester and Drake. Spending years in Tartarus building his mechs and refining his own bioengineered techniques. Now not so sure about his own goals, he keeps up his work to assist Bowyer in a dispassionate way. Everything he knew was left behind. Due to his loyal nature, as well not able to feel a belonging to anywhere else, he kept himself within the Count's domain.

No longer feeling so passionate about the Count's ideals, he was rather focused on his own work. Rather perfecting his own work and find a way to stabilize his slowly decomposing body. Still taking on missions and work for the Count, he eventually found a way for the Henchmen to travel back and forth to the overworld. Having the goal of finding a way to free the Count, as well being on a personal hunt to save himself.

Along with the other Henchmen, he would find himself in a rivalry with the Count's main nemeses. The Käärmeen King would forever be the Count and his armies' prison guard, having his own little group of subordinates to take care of them; The sins. Despite what vile scheme the Count and the Henchmen planned, the main Five of the Sins would always be there to stop them. To this day, Feng is still in this forever scuffle with the team, ending up against the Käärmen's niese, now known as Dissonans, along with her brother Valentine and their associates SilberIlluge and XIX.
Having a deadly rivalry, Dr. Feng wishes for their demise. He respects the Count enough to spare the Käärmeen kids for him. The rest? To use the rest of the five for his bioengineering and experiemnts to "cure" himself from deterioration

Personality & Traits

Dr. Feng is a very well mannered and sophisticated man, yet he got a sharp, sarcastic and arrogant tongue. Rather bringing vicious mockery insults, as he in most cases sees himself of upper class. Having a somewhat God complex, he got high thoughts over hismelf and his believes.

However, despite coming out as calm and collected, he has his temper. Even though he is a calculated being with quite a patience mind, Feng gets easily annoyed and grumpy over the smallest things. Being a perfectionist and a critical thinker often brings its inner conflict. Making him easily frustrated when he can't get things right. Going too far, his emotions can make him go quite fanatic with less control and persistence

He is somewhat bold when in charge, and prefer to be seen as a higher being. Not afraid to use his augmented powers and tech to subdue others. However, he is quite skittish. As a trait from his younger life, he still can't get rid of his wariness of danger. Often leading him to sneak away from fights, and often result to a flight response when scared. Despite his fear, if truly provoked he can surely kick a punch. Especially when letting his mutations to grow. Along with his transformation, he gets more vicious and vile. Usually Feng isn't a fan of getting his hands bloody, but when in his mutation form he couldn't care less for making a mess

quirks/abilities

• Even as a born genius, Feng drank the water of Mímisbrunnr to gain a devine level of intelligence.

• An expert in bioengineering & cybernetic tech, his able to change genetetics & create bio-weapons, as well building cybernetic robots out of living beings as of example.

• Feng's augmented body parts are of different beastly origin. Along with a self injected parasite & vital fuids, his able to live with it

• His foreign parts are still able to utilize it's former abilities, but are imperfect. Gives Feng a broken and corrupt transformation. Needs special treatment after use to avoid long time damage to his body

• Brain implants are able to disrupt and control certain kind of tech. Gives him a kind of electro magnetic power

• Can throw up an Acid Spray attack

Trivia

• Never leaves his tablet. Used for notes & to control his bigger mechs

• His foreign body parts keeps getting rejected by his own, making Feng addicted to life saving serums

• The mech implants on his head lets Feng control smaller machines psychological

• Still suffers from a strong flight respons from his early life. Makes him often look like a wimp during fights and confrontations

• Was responsible for the experiments and mutations done to Dissonans and Drake, as well the creation of XIX

Count Osmund Bowyer

Dr. Feng is one of the three Henchmen of Count Bowyer, and is the most tactical and collected of the three. Feng has a great respect for the Count. The doc used to believe he could thrive more in his ideal world. Having similar points of view, they go well along. However, with time Feng may not be too interested in Bowyer's new world. He just wants to feel a stable body. Mostly staying due to respect, loyalty and the fact he dont feel there are any other place for him to belong.

The Five Sins

Unfortunate for Feng and his associates, the sins are under the Käärmeen King's command. Even more, the lead sin is Feng's old experiment subject; The Dissonans. Having a personal hatred to the Count and Feng, Dissonans and their brother Valentine already got a burning hatred for them. Making Feng and his associates a never-ending deadly enemy with the sins. He respects them as worthy opponents, but would rather see them all burn. He respects Bowyer to let him have the Käärmeen kids, but he wishes to use the rest of the sins for his research and experiemnts to "cure" himself from deterioration

The Henchmen & Count's Familiar

Feng doesn't have much of a relation to the other Henchmen outside their work.
He find Jester to be more annoying and bothersome to be bothered to know. Drake is a bit different, as he was ones one of Feng's secret projects at Aether. Despite not sharing a lot in common, Feng feels a little protective over his minotaur pet. The Count's familiar, The Carnival Cultist, always made him uncomfortable. Being an unsociable being, Feng doesn't get close to it unless necessary. The familiar is a great ally in the field at least....
