Meyne's Links
Shael’s determination and devotion to her cause is incredible, an all-encompassing drive that makes her shine as bright as the Light she adores. While I once worried that it blinded her to all else, I feel that she continues to open her mind, to appreciate all the unique angles from which the world can be perceived.
Once I thought Meyne confused at best, deliberately obtuse at worst. I’ve learned much since then. Blind in some ways he may be, but in others he knows more than I could have ever guessed. Most of all, I admire his patience, and his ability to question what’s assumed true in ways that reveal more than the assumption ever could.
Sadzhik’s relationship with my wife may be somewhat strained, but it’s easy to perceive how much he cares for her, and she for him. I hope I’m helping to bridge that gap.
My son-in-law couldn’t be more pleasant, nor a better match for Shael. I’m happy to see him widening her perspective to allow for more than the absolute truths she so loves. I think they can learn much from each other.
I’m proud of Shaya for her diligence and devotion to the craft that means so much to her. I do hope that she branches out from her workshop at some point - I worry she may become lonely at times.
I feel like my dad is the one who really understands me the best. He’s always happy to listen to my thoughts and musings, and to help me refine my magic and rituals.
