Name: Delphi
Named herself after: The oracle of Delphi. Her nest was very close to the university’s lecture halls and she used to find her way to spots where she could listen to them. The first lecture she ever witnessed was about the oracle and she instantly felt like that was the right name for her.
Hatched on: December 2nd 1947, in the nest of a snowy owl in a nest at the university of Bergen in Norway.

Activity: Her activity is mainly during dusk and dawn. Snowy owls often display daytime activity, so she has adapted to her nest’s routine.
Core interest: Rocks, especially the kind people wear around their necks and fingers. She is also very interested in everything about the past, so history is one of her core interests. She sees the future, she lives in the present and she wants to know everything she can about the past. Especially mythology and art are something she is very interested in, but as long as it can be counted as history, she wants to know about it.

Additional information: Delphi tends to stick to herself. She left her nest fairly late, but is a real traveler now. She misses her brothers and sisters and can get quite lonely, but social interactions are hard for her so she prefers to stay away from others. This often makes her look quite arrogant and she is okay with that. In a sense, she feels like she is a bit stuck up when it concerns the company she keeps. She is picky about people and things in general and lacks the social skills to gently turn people down. Because she spends so little time around others, her patience is spread pretty thin. However, she isn’t a bad person. If you manage to worm your way through her thick outer exterior, she is almost like a mentor figure. She was the first born in her nest and tends to want to take care of the ones she can actually stand. This doesn’t mean she’s suddenly all mushy and extremely friendly, she tends to be quite stern. Her patience with your will not suddenly improve and she will not be afraid to set you straight or give you a piece of her mind. This is all in good faith though, she does it because she cares. Her love for history takes her all over the world and she is always interested when it comes to meeting feonies. She likes getting ‘souvenirs’ from them, which most often consist of feathers (she has quite a collection!) or shiny rocks. Although the rocks come from everywhere, she has a widespread assortment of them.
