first, they fully threw themselves into being a Blade, closing the oblivion gates, and everything. they genuinely would have happily done so for the rest of their life- staying by the emperor's side.

after the oblivion crisis ends, they're... done. they're finished. they ride a horse down to leyawiin without a single break, drink an entire bottle of wine, and sleep for seventeen hours. 

after this, they try their hardest to not be recognized as the champion of cyrodiil.

they join the dark brotherhood because they accidentally killed a guard that attacked them for pickpocketing.

they hated lucien following the purification but felt like they were too hard on him after his death

in the shivering isles, they're kinda a little really scared of sheogorath because he is very loud and very irish. also they never summon haskill because they dont want to bother him

after finishing the shivering isles questline they dont believe theyre actually sheogorath and just try to go about their business as usual.
