Parcifal

Parcifal, to the public of unknown heritage, is a man in his early fourties. He is a retainer and consultant of the king and thus very close to him. As explained by Linus, Parcifal must have been around the king for a long time already as the crownprince already knows him since childhood. 

With the time, Parcifal became more interested into witches and started to gather them on a location called the copperisland. He held around 20 witches captive and became obsessed with his studies on their abilities, often forcing them through traumatic tests and torturing them if not obedient.

Unknown to anyone except the King, Pacrifal is a witch himself, immune to any ability any other witch may have. He cannot be mind-controlled, healed or held down by most abilties which gives him a grant advance in his work with them. 

Iroically, he gets rather well along with young children. He his absolutely obedient to the king and cares about the princes and princesses, even thought he is displeased by Linus.
