Personality
● Maven is an extremely fickle Glubglub. His mood changes easily, and quite strongly. He is often forced into difficult situations and to make equally difficult choices, leaving him confused about what to do or stressing about what he should have done differently. His moral compass is completely shattered, and goes every which-way possible.
● He's a bit of a bad kid, but not a terrible one. Because he has suffered, he likes to see others go down with him. He gets into scraps quite often, and is quite the troublemaker. Maven doesn't know how to interact positively with Midveilers due to his past. He wants attention and will do anything to get it, be it positive or negative.
● Even though he is confused and wanting to be a better person, Maven has trouble finding a teacher. He is unpredictable, moody, and intimidating. Many of Midveil's residents are unwilling to see past his first impressions, which usually leave them frightened and upset and in turn make Maven feel the same way.

Trivia
● Maven is inspired by Maven Calore of Victoria Aveyard's Red Queen series. They're both moody kids with troubled pasts, and share the same color palette of whites, blacks, and blues.
● Frontosa Cichlids usually have a large forehead, though some have been selectively captive-bred to have a lesser bump, or none at all. While Glubglubs usually live in the sea, Maven's mimic represents that of a Frontosa Cichlid in captivity.
● Maven was originally going to be a pirate captain to represent Maven Calore's royal status. Now, he's just a troubled kid like Maven Calore ends up to be.
