Roy Trahern

Roy is a distant cat who always seems to be stuck inside his head. It's hard to get to know the stoic tom, for he doesn't open up for just anyone. Even his wife has had difficulty learning anything about the tom, for Roy is rather secretive about his likes, dislikes, and hobbies. Roy is almost never seen smiling, let along laughing. He's intelligent, but quite serious. And to the youth, he's boring.

Despite his nature, he and is wife Mòr have a cordual relationship. She doesn't ask for more than he's willing to give, and he appreciates that. Together, they make a good team of parents for their son, Lachlan, who is not popular with the rest of the family, especially not with the head of the family Taskill. Roy will fiercly defend his son from Taskill, putting him at odds with the head of the Traherns.

In Wyrmwick, he accepts being called an angler, but being from a Moonmire family, his career is better described by their old rank, scouts. He doesn't know much about fishing and prefers to take on land prey - as well as the birds that are common on the cliffs of Moonmire. He is an impressive hunter of birds of prey, yet doesn't seem all that set on rising through the ranks.
