The daughter of a noble Skywing, Overcast was given all she could want on a silver platter, but not matter who she was born to it would have never granted her what she truly wanted; to be a girl. 

Within the upper class of the Skywing Nation, a transgender woman like herself would be branded as a power hungry male and likely shunned.  Within the Skywing nation, gender is largely based on ones biological sex and their role within their flock. Only the leader of a flock is considered female, any of her biologically female daughters are considered male as long as they are under her wing.

Individual flocks largely operate on their own, so gender diverse individuals are able to exist in some accepting communities; but the largely public lives of the nobility leave no room for deviation from the norm.

Silently, without a word to anyone in her flock, Overcast left to the only place she knew that her family would never find her. Known as a den of rejects and criminals, the forests of the nation would be the only place where she could be a girl. 

Her life hasn't been easy, no one lives an easy life within the forests, but she gets to live her life as she was always meant to; and that's worth all the risks.

Has a touch and go relationship with Tropical, another law-breaker that she bumps into every now and then; though neither consider the relationship serious.
