Leo

S'tanmo and S'tajha Laqi were born a set of twin girls in Corvos. As the country was occupied by the Empire, their childhood was turbulent and often violent. The nunh of the S clan of Corvos was generally cowed by the Imperial rule, and the clan attempted to live their lives without threat. But there finally came a point where he would stand up to the Empire – earning him his immediate execution, along with many of the other clan members, including the young mother of that set of precocious twins.

Another member of the tribe took over caring for the twins, but it became clear that they needed to get out of Corvos. They managed to escape the country, but not before they were separated from their surrogate mother. It was at this point that they met up with a Hyur merchant named Talin Gianni, who took them in and raised them himself like their own children. The twins decided to take his name as a way of turning forward and walking away from their pasts. S'tajha would take the name Gemini and S'tanmo, now identifying as a boy, took the name Leo.

With their adoptive father a merchant, the children traveled around a lot, learning many abilities that would come to aid them in the future. Gemini learned to dance, and Leo learned to make music and sing. Together, they made money in tips to help Talin out.

Eventually, Talin decided to retire to Eorzea. By this point, the twins were well on their way to adulthood, and it was time for them to split off and live their own lives. Adventurers were needed in Eorzea, so they decided to try their hand at it. Gemini learned how to use her dancing to fight with help from a dancing troupe, and Leo met an old bard who taught him how to weave magic into his song.
