Character
Nuit is determined, careful, and bitter in her quest to return all that she once lost.
⬥ She is civil to friendly to most people and hostile to all Fragments. She does not care about the lives they have made for themselves.
⬥ "Ah here you are, another bad decision I once made."
⬥ While she once happily controlled the known elements, she now chooses to show her power in darkness and light.
⬥ She shed her wonder and it is the lowest on her list to have returned.

⬥ Consuming a lost Fragment makes her very sick as she works to wipe out its former self-awareness and put it back into her Whole.

Story
Past
Nuit is both the original and final Fragment. She was once a kind and benevolent mage who sought to bring joy with her mastery of the elements. When she gave her trusting heart to the wrong creature and was betrayed, her pain taught her darkness. In an effort to rid herself of her sorrow and its companions she split her being, casting away the emotions she felt she could not bear to have. These doppelgangers became their own beings over time, and their successes and failures bred more Fragments in kind.
Present
Though she is a shell of her former self her power is overreaching and terrible. There are days where she remembers the sun shines to create life and not only to blind her, but most days she drifts in and out of consciousness as she randomly links with the other Fragments. She is beset by violent mood swings and fugues by accidentally connecting with these creatures and seeks to reabsorb them into herself to regain her whole. She will not hesitate to consume any that she comes across, and she will not trust again.
