Initially founded before the outbreak with mangled legs alongside his twin, Polaris, both were taken in by wealthy trainers They lived a life of luxury, love, and took the beauty competition world by storm It was wonderful
But after the outbreak, many humans were evacuated from certain cities and ordered to leave their pokemon behind Heartbroken, that's what their trainers did, tho promised to return Polaris and Anubis waited for as long as they could and he still retains hope for their return even after joining Lorenzo to the promised safe haven
Unlike his twin, Anubis is far less trusting and naive, almost to a fault (he's envious of those who are naturally so kind as much as he low key despises them) He expects the worst and doesn't hesitate to do whatever he needs to keep him and Polaris (especially Polaris) safe no matter the cost You wouldn't know it tho given he's a big charmer who's perfected the act of imitating his twin
