Helios

Helios is the god of the new sun. He's now accepted his role in the sky and watchers of the realm. It wasn't always like that though...

When he was younger and but just a distance star, he came down on the earth to run away from his responsibilites. However, without the sun, the world started to die, and he witness the desruction of his absence for 3 months of darkness. He resents going back to his place in the sky as he must remain there and may never come down to see his friends and family. He was still so young, and wanted friends and a life of his own.

So, he struct a deal with the moon and her childern, the stars. He pleaded that for 12 hours each day, he will rise and perform his duties as the sun. However, the other 12 hours are to be dedicated to the moon and her childern. He promised them half of his immortality, and the other gods, seeing his desperation of a life with others agreed, also letting him keep his immortality. With that, Helios flew back into the sky, taking his place as the sun, and every night, he sinks into the earth, walking amoung the ground.
