Personality

Most Girafarig tend to have two personalities, as they have two brains, one in their head, one in their tail. Usually those personalities have some similarities, but Dacapo's are polar opposites. While their main body is happy, positive, driven, loud and full of energy, their tail is depressed, negative, sad and thinks there is no hope left in the universe. Despite this, Dacapo cares deeply for their tail, and is always telling them that everything will be okay. Dacapo is obsessed with the idea of being a super-hero. This is why they often rush in danger, head-first, in order to help those in need.

Appearance

Dacapo is your usual Girafarig, with four-pronged star-shaped markings instead of the usual spots. Their eyes are deep blue and often sparkle. They wear an old scarf around their neck, colored deep blue with yellow stars. Their tail is always frowning.

Relationships

Candi

Dacapo likes their new trainer a great bit. After all, travelling with her allows them to see the world and help even more people! And stop actual, real bad guys! How cool is that!?

Team

Dacapo likes Dumle, but thinks he could use some excersice and should be more energetic overall.

Dacapo and Anis get along great, due to their positive personalities. Anis has even managed to get close to their tail, which is rare to see, even among other Girafarig.

Dacapo has taken it upon themselves to protect Marianne from anything that may stress her up. Wether this is because they truly care for her, or if this is just another heroic thing for them to do is still under debate...

Dacapo likes Sisu, and has taken him as their unofficial sidekick.

Dacapo doesn't really know what to think about Tupla, as they are not exactly super good, but not a straight up villain either. They keep vigilant eye to the Umbreon either way.

Backstory

Dacapo was born in a herd of Girafarig and had a pretty normal childhood. They then found some trash left behind by humans, including magazines that explained different kind of gender-identities, that made them realize that they didn't really care for either male or female, and thus started to go by non-gender-specific pronounces, to the confusion of the rest of the herd. There were also old super-hero comics in the pile that got the young Girafarig to dream of a potential future as one. They then found an old scarf in the trash and started to wear it in placeholder for a cape. They made these new things their whole personality, which came to annoy everyone around them, especially their parents. One day Dacapo heard that there was a rampaging Gyarados at Lake Rage, and went there in order to stop it. There they met Candi and helped her to stop the Gyarados. She then asked if Dacapo wanted to join them in taking down Team Rocket, and Dacapo gladly joined.

Trivia

Dacapo is named after this Finnish candy

More precicely Dacapo was named after the wrapper of said candy, due to the similar colors bother the pokemon and the wrapper have.

Dacapo was the inspiration behind naming a whole team after Finnish candies. Thus they are also the reason how many of them got their personalities, as they are tied heavily to their chosen candies (Tupla having two personalities, Sisu being strong and determined, etc).

Dacapo themselves is an old character, and started as a female Girafarig with no clear personality. Their design and personality was finalized only recently.
