Profile

Name: Eleanor
Age: 22
Gender: Female

Personality:
A lovely young woman who is curious about a lot of things. Always well mannered and bit strange towards people. She can be rather direct at times as well. Well organised and rather knowledgeable about strange things or things that don't exist.

Backstory:
Eleanor was born in a rich house hold. Her father was a famous scientist and her mother was a famous singer. The unfortunate thing was that Eleanor was born with a rare condition that made her skin very sensitive to the sun. She would burn very easily and it would cause her great pain. So usually she was covered by clothes or by an umbrella throughout her life. She was granted the gift of a beautiful singing voice from her mother and the gift of curiosity from her father. She would constantly switch between sciences and music as she was growing up due to her parents. Her father worked from home most of the time so she got to see and learn all sorts of things. Of course her father had a bit of an obsession with legends and things that just don't exist. He has always taken an interest in the strange things of life which he passed onto his daughter. She would always help him in his side research of these things since it interested her greatly.

But as the years went on her father started to become obsessed with one legend in particular. A legend about a mystical being who was like a god. They could create life with their own hands, grant immortality and also bring about the destruction of the world. But there was one man who brought this mystical being to its knees to serve him with a few words and a special metal crown. He wanted to find these being and study it. Eleanor found the tale amazing but didn't think that something so grand could be caught by a man. She watched as her father began to get taken over by this obsession which worried her and her mother. Many nights he would spend awake just trying to figure things out. He only didn't go completely mad because of his family making sure to keep him some what grounded. But they couldn't get him to focus on his proper work anymore. Eleanor began to do bits and pieces of his work were she could but she didn't think she was anywhere near as good as her father. But when the work got sent away and more was sent back she received praise from the science board her father worked with. Of course the praise was for her father since they never knew she was doing the work. So she continued to do this for up to a year.

One day the board dropped by to their home to talk with her father. Eleanor managed to get her father out of his lab but he was so focused on this legend that he just couldn't deal with this scientist board just now. So when the doors opened to the room her father pushed her inside instead and shut the door. Eleanor was suddenly in a room of older gentlemen who stared at her. Letting out a nervous laugh she began to tell them that her father was very busy so she could cover up what he was working on. The gentlemen of the board however didn't like that answer and began to tell her that he must be there so they could look over these solutions and various other things they had brought with them. Eleanor saw this as a chance and glanced over at the papers they had sitting down. As the men bickered between themselves Eleanor took to solving a few of the problems herself before breaking up the men's bickering. She explained what she did and how it was fixed but also what needed to be looked at more. The men were speechless and gave her something else to work on. She did the same as before and solved it for them. From that day on the board began to direct the work towards Eleanor since she always told them her father was busy. Of course after a few good months of this a rumor about her father began to spread and started to effect his status as a scientist and Eleanor was starting to take his place in the science community. But this began to worry her and her mother. They tried their best to dilute the rumor about him but it didn't help when the father turned up at the scientist board's office. He rambled on about his findings and how he finally found the being he had been researching for so long.

The poor man was laughed out of the building and was full of rage for no one believing him. Eleanor was his new replacement after that. She was made the youngest female scientist of her time. But she never felt proud of how that happened. Her father locked himself away in the home for weeks after that and focused on work once more. Once Eleanor reached eighteen her father finally was convinced by his wife to take a small vacation. Both of her parents left her in charge of the home and never came back. Eleanor never heard anymore from them after that day. She had to hold a funeral after almost a year had passed and was giving the home along with all of their money. She continued to work for the science board from home just like her father did since it was hard for her to cope with people. She stayed home bound most of the time hoping her parents would show up one day and everything would be alright. She still waits for them to come back home.
