▪︎ Rättäri, but you don't have to write it with the äs. He also goes by Ratt/Rätt.

▪︎ He/Him/His. He will answer to things like it/it's or they/them but his preference is he/him.

▪︎ He's like a stuffed animal thing that came to life and now he's making it EVERYONES problem. Now that he has the hang of being alive he's a rat bastard (hah) who enjoys to create problems, not in a quirky way but in a... he likes knowing that he's inconveniencing someone. He would make ragebait if he had twitter.

▪︎ He's not entirely an asshole. He does have his own quirks and personality. You just have to get to know him first. Unfortunately that means pushing past wanting to throttle him.

▪︎ It's not clear why he's got such a bravado; He's not insecure, it doesn't seem like, and it's not like he has a traumatic childhood... that we know of. But under all that is a rat who rather enjoys cheesy sitcoms and orange cake.

▪︎ Being based on an ikea thing, you think he'd be Swedish. He's not. He's Finnish, through and through.

Sitcoms. As said above, Rättäri has a love for sitcoms, especially ones that can actually have serious moments sprinkled in without feeling jarring, unearned, or like they don't matter in the long run. He would love bojack horseman.

Snow. Believe it or not, Rättäri has never actually been to Finland. Weird how that works, huh? Regardless, Rättäri loves snow as if he was raised in it. He likes the cold, he likes the quiet of winter months, he even likes making snowmen.

Cartography. He just finds it interesting. Give him a whole bunch of maps to look over and he'll be happy for hours. Doesn't even need to be a real map. Doesn't even have to be a country, he likes city and town maps too.

History Books. While Rättäri finds history as a topic interesting, the books make him want to leap off a bridge. He just finds history books in particular insufferably slow and boring. Documentaries are cool though.

Blueberries. Rättäri thinks they're slimy and gross. It's basically the only food he actually, passionately hates. 

Hills. A small thing to many, but because he's so short, every hill is super inconvenient to traverse. It's enough for him to put his pride on the backburner and demand that someone just carry him instead.

▪︎ His tail is optional; it can be a normal rat tail or it can be entirely absent. It is the finnish flag lol. Fun trivia, I gave him this tail because his irl form has long ass tags.

▪︎ He's a jerboa. Kind of. It's the closest irl animal to him. (Big ear rat..)

▪︎ His pupils are white, and glow in the dark. They technically emit light but it's such little light that it only lights up the pupils themselves.

▪︎ He is small! He's only like a foot tall, give or take a few inches, standing straight up.

▪︎ That's not makeup. It's his fur pattern.

▪︎ Gloves are not opt ever. Neither is the clown nose, or his four eyelashes (but feel free to stylize those!)

▪︎ His hat, that is opt like it says in the ref, says "Rotta". Rat, in finnish. According to google translate.
