Lynnette is
Lynne was born and raised in a small village called Fallmoor in the Province of Verthell. Her father was a blacksmith and her mother stayed at home with her grandmother. Lynne grew up with her brother Cain, who was seven years older than her, and she looked up to him more than anyone. She always admired her brother's kindness, drive, and intelligence- he seemed perfect.
When Lynne was eleven, Cain left Fallmoor to join the Royal Guard in Baladin. It was a great honor to be accepted as part of the Royal Guard and so Lynne aspired to be like her brother and started training for the position as well. An old man in her village was a retired soldier who had trained Cain and so Lynne was taken under his wing as well.
Two years later, Lynne and her family had stopped receiving letters from Cain. Not long after, they had received a missive from Baladin saying that Cain had been KIA. Lynne and her family were distraught and Lynne had stopped training. As if to make matters worse, a sickness plagued the land and swept through Fallmoor, infecting many of its inhabitants. Lynne's parents fell victim to this mysterious sickness and died only a short time after.
Lynne refused to train from there on out and dedicated her life to taking care of her grandmother. She took up a job as a baker and the family smithy became unused. When Lynne turned seventeen, her grandmother urged her to continue training for the Royal Guard. Though hesitant at first, Lynne's grandmother was insistent that she shouldn't live her life taking care of her. So Lynne agreed and began training again.
