Kane is a 'wish' demon, they grant wishes but take something in return,

Kane fell in love with Wolf who accidentally summoned him during a mission gone wrong, he 'saved' wolf and 'took' his love as his reward or payment. but wolf loves his demon boio no matter what the circumstances were
