Known for speaking with a heavy southern drawl, wrangling varmints, herding cattle, roping, and riding equines. He is loyal, tough, and self-reliant, though he is willing to let loose the reins a bit and trust a feller after getting more acquainted, as long as the person doesn't do anything to jeopardize his trust. Often, he aids at the Briggs' residence ranch, herding and keeping the livestock safe, though, he too often has a run-in with his nemesis and terror of the seas.. Lost, a loudmouth, and so-called pirate who tries to raise havoc along the coastline. Especially around the more fancy folks' docks. While Clay ain't one for all that fanciful junk and is fine settling for a cozy life of the essentials, he's not one to sit idly while an outlaw is afoot, so no matter how much of a headache Lost is, he always ends up involving himself in trying to reprimand the noisy pirate-wannabe. He also has a friendly rivalry going on with a childhood friend, Dallas Briggs, who is the same faunt he herds for. They get along well, and have known one another since diapers, they grew up doing just about everything together, learning to fish, rope, ride equines, etc, and think of one another as best pals.
