Glitch's egg hatched in a crashed shuttle from Leonid's space ship. (On their original approach to Imagia, Leonid and his crew sent down a shuttle, but it was struck by lightning. No-one was hurt, but the mini-shuttle was wrecked. They were going to remove it and clear away the mess, but when the first Cyborg-type Imagineko eggs started appearing, Leonid and Karlotte decided the crashed ship should stay exactly where it was.) The egg, before it was hatched, would fall until it was one inch from the ground, then would float into the air until it would reach the ceiling. Then it would fall again. But right before Glitch hatched, something went very weird. Instead of floating back up again, the egg fell, and a crack went through it. It had landed on a pile of electronic rubble from the crashed shuttle. No one knows exactly what happened, but the pile of broken spaceship parts emitted a strange, electronic charge that went through the crack in the egg. So when Glitch was born, they were born with the strange power to glitch.
