Mari is a character with a pure heart. She stumbled upon an abandoned library, she cleaned it and made it new. Mari was there reading the books that she had within the library most of the time. She never knew where the books were coming from, but every month she found more. The day she met Alphonse, she learned where the mysterious books were appearing from. She kept the library for herself, getting visitors every once in a while. Her main forms of social contact was the local coffee shop and her weeks with Alphonse.

Backstory

Mari knew little of her past. Her Mother was an old soul and passed shortly after her birth. Her Father, a wanderer never destined to be in one spot for too long.

Mari lived on the streets for awhile, since she was a hybrid, she was cased aside into the lower levels of Nyne. She worked for herself trying to build a life. She was addicted to learning and read anything she could get her hands on. She remembered an encounter from when she was only 10. A male in a deep green hood handed her a novel, he had given her the warmest smile she ever felt. Before disappearing into the night.

A Cute Snip

Mari had her hair brushed up into a messy ponytail, sorting the books Alphonse brought back from his last adventures. He was currently catching up on some well needed sleep while she was doing this. She finished putting the last book into its spot. Stepping back, she smiled at her work.

"Done already?" A tired voice spoke up from behind her. She twirled around, noticing Alphonse was awake. His hand softly rested on her head with a familiar warm smile painted to his face. "You are a special one, Mari." Her eyes just glimmered at his during this moment. A fond memory for her to look back on while Alphonse is away.
