🔥 Backstory
Born to Azia and Tahiri, fugitives fleeing the Guardians, a cult-like paramilitary force.
Raised in hiding, lovingly parented, but kept in the dark about their family’s past.
At 14, loses Tahiri during a violent attack by the Guardians.
Captured with Azia but escapes alone, homeless and hunted.
Rescued by Gwen, a cryptid hunter who injures them in self-defense but nurses them back to health.
Starts a journey with Gwen to rescue Azia, now traumatized and with a new child, Saba.
Lives with Gwen and Saba; develops identity struggles, jealousy, and disordered health behaviors.
Attempts to live a normal life with a human girlfriend (Chloe), but loses her after exposure of their true identity as a Shara'se .
Chloe is recruited by the Guardians; Rouna is left grieving and guilty.
Later joins a Shara’se community and begins a healthy relationship with Neda, another Shara’se.
Eventually becomes a key figure in the resistance, seeking to dismantle the Guardians and face the Authority that destroyed their family
The prophetized child of Dusk Hunter and of the Authority will break or restore the Order .
