Biography
Umbra Sapphire is a very mature and fierce witch who isn't afraid of using foul language. She is the 51st Star Fighter Magenta, and primarily uses a tome to cast spells. Umbra doesn't typically bring up that she practices magic to people because she hates when people assume she's going to try to cast a curse on them. She is Emerald Sapphire's first cousin.
Umbra's day job is at a cafe that is only staffed by people who identify as women. She was born with the name Aria Sapphire to two parents who ran a cult, and they disowned her when she refused to become a priestess for said cult. Since her parents saw her as only a shadow of the daughter they wanted, Aria adopted the name Umbra and has disconnected herself from most of her family, save for Emerald.

Trivia
Umbra accidentally turned parts of her hair white after making a mistake on a disguise spell.
She is not interested in any discussing of religion, despite being a Star Fighter (which has religious undertones).
Umbra is much more mild mannered around Emerald than anyone else.
She casually plays a trombone.
She and Emerald have plans to start their own magic/witchcraft shop togther.
