Embrisona was born in captivity, but was released shortly after she was born. Her mother left her at a young age and she grew up with a nursing mare as a mother. Her father pushed her hard to become a good soldier and for many months, she liked her training. However, she grew more and more curious about her mother and eventually persuaded her father to tell her about her mother. When she was old enough, she started sneaking off to go see Excaliver. Her mother told her of the horrible things that her father had done and Embri grew sickened learning of it all. However, she still continued to train until one day she felt that she was strong enough to take her father down. She challenged him and screamed all of his crimes as they fought. Eventually, she got the upper hand and dealt the killing blow. She left him bleeding in the dust, scoffing that he was worthless after all and gloating over the irony of his own child murdering him. After that, she went to live with her mother, though her mother disappeared shortly after she committed the crime. Depressed and disgusted with the state of things, Embri left Wild Equines and never looked back.
