Lachesis is a ruthless, cruel and vicious mare. She knows what she wants and how to get it. She can be manipulative if the time presents itself. She is power hungry, but isn't corrupt. She despises Lights and Neutrals and wishes to hunt them down and kill them all. She is not innocent and is not afraid to torture and keep slaves for her own sadistic enjoyment. To her family, however, she is a very different vixen. She is very loving and affectionate to those she cares about and will protect them at all costs. She has a certain softness for foals that she learned from her mate, Impulse. Lachesis is anything but a coward and will stand up to any challenge. She perfers to carve her own path out in life and won't hesitate to change anything if she sees it fit to change. She is a spit fire and has a barbed tongue. Do not make her angry. She will maul you like a rabid wolf.

Lachesis was born to Epsilon and Ashlan, two Light parents very much in love. She was happy for the first few months of her life, very well loved by both of her parents. However, when she was a few months old, her mother became ill. Epsilon tried to hide this from Lachesis, but it was obvious that her mom could no longer walk easily on her own and eventually she laid down and did not get back up. Epsilon was heartbroken and raised his daughter alone after that. Lachesis was grief-stricken and angry, not understanding why her mother had left her. In her rebellion, she strayed farther and farther away from her father, leaving often at night to explore the Free lands when she knew he didn't want her to go - in fact that made her want to go all the more.

Eventually, she ended up in the Dark lands. Instead of being scared by their antics, she was fascinated by it all. These equines were so strong - they would never succumb to illness like her mother had. She eventually met one of them - a stallion named Impulse. She was just over two years old when they met and he intrigued her enough to make her come back. One day she decided not to go back and stayed with Impulse in his land of Fire and Ice Flatts. He taught her everything about being a Dark and she gave into it completely, loving the lifestyle, the freedom, and eventually, loving Impulse himself. The two of them became mates and became a powerful couple. Eventually, Epilson found Lachesis again, but she spat at him to leave, calling him weak. She marked her own father as an enemy that day. However, Epsilon swore the same and eventually news went around that Epsilon had become the new Light King. Lachesis was less than pleased to hear about this new development.

Lachesis and Impulse finally had their own child, a colt named Demios. They both doted on him. However, Impulse held many slaves in his lands and Lachesis also helped to raise many of the children that came from the slaves. She took a filly named Avani under her wing shortly after her mother left and raised Avani and Demios together. Though Demios was jealous at first, the two became best friends. Lachesis thought of the filly as her own daughter. However, even with the slaves and the mate that he had, Impulse had no shortage of suitors and one mare in particular set Lachesis off. Her name was Civic and she had triplets by Impulse. Lachesis demanded that the mare leave and eventually she did, though she brought her children by often to visit their father. Not long afterward, Lachesis became pregnant again and gave bith to a second son named Ketamine.

Things were peaceful for many months as she and Impulse raised their children. However, word came around that Epsilon and Leilani - the Light Queen - had recently had a child together. Lachesis was delighted at this and plotted to steal her half sister, Nova. In this time, Ketamine grew up and left the herd to go on his own. For months she plotted and eventually did succeed in stealing her baby sister. She kept the girl in Fire and Ice Flatts for a few months, but her joy was short-lived as tragedy struck. Both Impulse and Demios were discovered dead within days of each other with no known cause. Lachesis was devastated and she and Avani stuck together as the only members of Fire and Ice Flatts - that was, until Nicotine - Demios' son - came to join them. Lachesis, Avani, and Nicotine spent a lot of time together as the only herd members. However, they both grew up and went their separate ways and Lachesis eventually decided to dissolve Fire and Ice Flatts. She briefly lived in the Free lands and met the notorious Romeo, but she quickly grew bored of Wild Equines and decided to leave it for greener pastures.
