Profile
A penguin harpy from the Antarctic Circle. She was selected as a candidate for the Interspecies Cultural Exchange Program (ICEP for short), an internship of sorts where one gets to dorm with a human partner outside of their home state. Though, the circumstances here differ from the usual plan. Five other monster folk join Adeline as she sets off towards her new daily life!
Early Life
Shy but outgoing, Adeline has always dreamed of venturing out into the world beyond her snowy abode. Her childhood was mostly isolated due to this shyness, which she regrets. When the opportunity presented itself, she signed up for the ICEP through a local recruitment event.
Appearance
Adeline is an Adelie-type penguin harpy. She has short black hair with evenly cut bangs in the front. Her thigh is adorned with white feathers and her lower leg is covered in pink scales leading to her webbed feet.
Her usual attire consists of an indigo winter coat and matching panties, ski goggles hybridized with earmuffs, and a large green scarf.
Personality
Adeline is a shy, quiet girl. She tries to avoid speaking too much if possible, getting easily flustered at the slightest screw up of communication. Usually it takes a lot of effort for her to open up to anyone. She is rather sensitive about her chest size as well and shows a combination of spite and admiration to those with larger "assets" than her own. All of these traits leave her to being subject to a lot of bullying from her fellow ICEP mates.
When it comes to matters regarding her scarf, however, she gets more defensive. Her scarf contains a lot of sentimental value in it that her personality becomes more extreme should any harm come to it.

Trivia
- Her scarf is a gift from her family, believed to have been hand-knitted by her mother at a young age. As she grew older, the scarf grew longer as well with repeated extensions. As such, it holds a lot of sentimental value to Adeline and she is rarely seen without it (even when it's hot).
- She can be observed sitting next to the washing machine/dryer waiting for her scarf to get cleaned.
- Adeline overheats quickly, especially when emotionally flustered. When summer comes, she shaves off her leg feathers to combat this.
