Melpomene (Mel for short) made the transfer to cybharr in her younger years. Designed by a greedy corporation engineer, he programmed Mel for the purpose of kidnapping fellow Cybharrs and bringing them to Heart O. Urban legends spread of the Cybharr "Grim Reaper" who kidnapped Cybharr dead or alive.
That was of course, before the virus.
With no idea how she contracted the virus, Mel started to have periods of sympathy; her tunnel vision in her mission suddenly opened guilt. Soon, she started releasing her victims before their destination. Starting to fear the repercussions of her actions she fled back to heart A.
Yet eventually, Mel found herself back in her old occupation, now working for a criminal who trafficks Cybharrs from the capital of Heart A to Heart O. While Mel is much more conflicted about her tasks than before, she firmly believes staying useful to the organisation is her only way to be save from her former bosses.
Now Mel fights with herself mentally; able to control herself there's a trigger of memories she wishes to forget, then it becomes a struggle to keep her head straight.
She loves animals and gardening, taking care of them helps her regaining control and eases her mind. While she stays fairly serious, she enjoys the company of optimistic/bubbly people, although they are hard to come by in her life.
