Cabe

Cabe is a very advanced piece of technology- A robot with a skeletal aesthetic built to work in the medical field, made as a 'proof of concept' by the States (the area of the world he lives in) to prove that technology is advancing enough that a robot is capable of taking over a more 'human' job, therefore allowing automation to progress within the work field. Built with the intended purpose of being able to approach difficult, mysterious, and intensive medical cases that would often require a small team of medical specialists working together to find the solution or cure to the patient's ailments, Cabe takes away the need of multiple specialists using their time on more time-consuming cases by being able to research, calculate, and resolve these difficult issues very quickly. This allows specialists to have more time to handle other cases that can be resolved quicker.

Cabe is capable of performing intensive surgeries, emergency services, and other more specialized- and basic- medical needs by himself. He can move very quickly with impressive precision, and is able to move dynamically- From the most gentle, still, careful touch, to being able to toss hundreds of pounds of hefty weight off of a patient in an urgent situation without wasting time and effort. His 'helping arms', the 4 of them in his back, are incredibly useful for many of the tasks he does, and helps him to be able to work by himself often.

He was made with the intention of being able to look over a problem, suggest the right testing, find the solution quickly, and let the rest of the staff handle it from there. He is naturally determined, headstrong, cold, and aggressive. Over time though, he has grown to develop more natural, human-like feelings. While still lacking empathy (among other aspects of common emotions), he has grown to develop these kinds of feelings and has continued to do so as he's learned and adapted from those around him. 

He has especially grown fond of his assistant, Idra, who is one of the only assistants he's had for quite some time now that the hospital he works at has been able to hire and keep. She's able to deal with his harsh, matter-of-fact personality very well, and has even been able to work closely with him on certain cases, providing important opinons and ideas that he's ultimately come to respect and value.

Over time their relationship has grown much closer, eventually the two becoming romantically interested in each other. Cabe values and respects Idra very closely, and has developed a significant amount of positive, softer feelings as a result of being with her.

Despite all of this, Cabe's drive to learn and fill the gaps in his knowledge of the things he doesn't know, doesn't understand, is sometimes very intense. He performs experiments on violent criminals in his off time, most of them being rather intense and disturbing. His goal is to expand his own knowledge, filling in information where none is available, but he also publishes his research (in very vague and sometimes misleading ways, but the important information is still there and correct) for others to see and learn from. His goal is to fix the broken parts of people, to find the solutions to unknown problems, and find cures for things have been previously deemed incurable.
