Early Life

Speckledwren was born out of her mother’s desire for a predecessor, to surpass Berryspots in becoming an excellent healer for her Tribe. But, she was born sickly, fragile, her mother used many of her resourcesses to keep her alive through the Leaf-Bare she was born in. Her mother was older, so perhaps this is why she had complications. It wasn’t until opened her eyes did they realize she was also partially blind. While others saw it as a weakness, her mother believed it was a sign of the Omincesent Ones, that she was blessed. The minute she could even learn to speak her mother began her training. At first, Speckledwren compiled, realizing her fate at an early age and she behaved for most of her youth. Eventually she’d get fed up as time went on, each time she’d mess up or fail her mother would remind her that she was destined for greatness, and should not be slacking off. Berryspots was stern and scary feline at time, so, often Speckledwren decided against arguing with her. One day, an argument broke out between the two, and Speckledwren took off, her intentions to run away from the tribe. Her mother chased after, but since she was old and faint of heart, she collapsed along the way without Speckledwren’s knowing. When Speckledwren began to feel guilty and foolish for taking off the way she did, so turned around and headed back, only to find her mother on the path she took. The Tribe helped them back, and Speckledwren shared her final moments of guilt with her mother, to which Berryspots forgave , and apologized for putting so much pressure on her for so long. Her mother passed away, Speckledwren still blames herself for her death.

Forbidden Relationship

Speckledwren continued her mundane life in Cascading Lights, simply pleasing to do her best, but try as she might, her best simply wasn’t the greatest at times. Without her mother's guidance now, Speckledwren became clumsy and forgetful, mainly because she silently fell into a depression to which she hid well for a while. One day, on her search for stocking herbs for the coming Leaf Bare, she came across Twilightstar, the neighboring enemy Tribe known as The Swift Plains. At first, she thought nothing off it, they mingled casually, as Twilightstar wouldn’t dare attack a Healer. The two conversed for a while, talking amongst the border and the Leader was kind enough to accompany her while she plucked leaves at the edge of the border. Eventually, a fox that had been terrorizing the tribes attacked, and Twilightstar charged in to protect the she cat, drawing it away from Speckledwren. The fox managed to injure Twilightstar, but lost track of the cats. Speckledwren was quick to help the tom and heal him. From there, it progressed more and more. They kept seeing each other in secret, until eventually the two became a pair, despite their differences.

Currently

Some time has passed since the blossoming of their romance, eventually they’d risk it even more by having a litter. At first, Speckledwren thought she could handle it, but eventually her Tribe Leader Flurrystar found out the minute the kits were born who their father was. Despite being furious, Speckledwren explained herself, and the kindness of her leader allowed her to keep her mate, and only one kitten, for one appeared too much like the father and would raise questions if she were to grow up in Cascading Lights. So, Speckledwren gave her only daughter to Twilightstar to raise. Grateful, she is. While she didn’t expect support from Flurrystar, she is glad to have it, than to rather be exiled. The pair continue to see eachother which a little more peace of mind now. This is where Speckledwren’s story is put at a hault, and more events are to follow soon!
