Hawk was alwasy naturally gifted in magic, so when he was little he quickly discovered he was connected to Autumn Breeze, and she then helped him master the nurtured light rune.

When Hawk became a commander, he vowed to use his magic to help his fellow Travelers, however he didn't always stick to that promise. He constantly helped his best friend, Kestrel, with his malicious intents, and eventually things got so out of hand that Autumn Breeze abandoned Hawk, leaving him vulnerable to the unstable consequences of using magic without a God to guide you.

Hawk died of accidental suicide when he was 78 years old, after getting in a fight with Kestrel and accidentally killing them both with magic. Now in Arogli, Hawk has gained a connection to Illypsum and has mastered the forsaken rune to the best of his abilities, and he is working to teach Amber the ways of forsaken magic as well.
