Cody Pine

Cody Pine is a wight, woken up from an ancient battlefield on the ruins of Earth. He does not remember what happened to him or who he was. Now he works as a bodyguard for Zeb, and he cannot speak -- he has no lower jaw, and always wears a mask to cover this up. He doesn't rot, he just kind of vibes. Now he's part of the crew of Tannsea's living ship.

Recently, he was given a familiar that is soulbound to him -- a sort of imp, though it really looks more like a fucked up gryphon. It's small enough to sit on his shoulder and has the body, hind legs, and tail of an opossum, but the forelegs, wings, neck, and head of a vulture. Its vocal cords allow it to speak, and since it can communicate telepathically with Cody, it is his mouthpiece.

Cody is about six-foot-two, with white skin and hair and monochrome blue eyes that glow -- that's the magic that reanimates him. He wears enchanted plate mail and a heavy black duster and uses an enormous longsword (Acheron Blade).
