/ˈmistrəl,miˈsträl/

noun

noun: mistral; plural noun: mistrals

  1. a  strong, cold northwesterly wind that blows through the Rhône valley and  southern France into the Mediterranean, mainly in winter.

She is constantly cold, both physically and emotionally. The only being that seemingly "speaks" to Ethereal, but nobody has been able to understand a word either of them say as they only seem to communicate through inaudible whispers. She gives you emotionless, sidelong glances every so often.
You rarely get to look into her eyes, but they seem to change color depending on the time of day.
Occasionally she will seclude herself for hours at a time; during this, she empties the tears she's amassed over time into little puddles. While rare, she will sometimes hover high up in the sky and bless the lands below with rain filled with such emotion that it affects the plants and even the people it lands on. The effect is not the same for everyone.

When she sighs, you can sometimes catch a glimpse of her breath as if it were cold out, and when she enters a room, you definitely notice a significant drop in temperature. She speaks in sighs, hums and glances but none seem to convey any specific emotion.
She doesn't care for noises; she prefers the silence and in fact loathes listening to you speak.
