Scorpius

There was a lighthouse on the shore between the Nagekusa and the Attakizu regions. His mother was the lighthouse keeper, an independent woman who he had always admired for her strength and dedication. She never seemed to waiver, no matter what obstacles she faced. Scorpius’ father had died before he was born; his mother stood strong against the storm of her sorrow and made sure that he had a comfortable and happy childhood. His mother was a master of the light element with nine tails, but she was adamant about maintaining the lighthouse. Although there was electricity to power the light, she said that her family had maintained it for generations, using their own power to light the beacon should the electricity ever fail. She said that it was a big responsibility to guide people home in times of need. He’d seen her light the beacon before and had never seen anything more impressive. They were a solitary pair, living on the outskirts of town, but Scorpius was always curious and liked to explore. It was during one of his adventures that he met a boy his own age who was an apprentice at the healing temple. The two became friends quickly and began spending all of their time together. After many years of living in such a small world, the two decided to travel to expand their worlds and learn new things. Although Scorpius feels certain he will return to his mother to take up her position, he wants to experience more before settling down.
