Despite being pushed by friends every time they did karaoke together that she should become an idol Mirai always denied it, thinking she could never do it, until she got the opportunity of a lifetime.
After finally getting the chance to see her favorite idol Kurebayashi Juri live, she ended up getting so overwhelmed and excited she fainted mid-concert. After being brought backstage by medical staff she woke up to see none other than Juri herself. After Mirai explained what she remembered happening Juri pondered for a moment than said that kind of passion and energy would make her a wonderful idol. She pulled some strings and a few weeks later Mirai was at Starlight Academy's gates ready to start her secret dream of being an idol.
At some point near the end of middle school she gets into an accident while filming for a TV Drama causing her to lose both of her legs and have to get prosthetics, This caused her to nearly give up on her idol career, but between her friends and fans cheering her on she pushed her self past her limits and restarted her path towards becoming a top idol.
Kurebayashi Juri: Mirai's idol, inspiration, and mentor. Despite Juri being busy with her own Aikatsu, she still does her best to give Mirai the guidance and advice she needs to grow as a person and idol.
Tsubasa Sena: The designer of her favorite brand "Dreamy Crown" She sees him like a big brother and is always bothering him with ideas for dresses or merchandise. While Sena is always calling her "annoying" or a "pest" he's been inspired by her multiple times.
