Harmony was originally built as a domestic Reploid, meant to assist her creator around the lab and accompany him on his outings. He allowed her to freely explore herself and the world at her own pace, treating her more as a human than a mere machine.
This freedom allowed her the chance to discover the Maverick Hunters rather quickly, witnessing them go about their missions and instilling the urge to join their ranks herself to help keep her city safe from Maverick harm.
