Profile
50% newfoundland dog
From the moment he could stand, Ironhide proved himself to be an exceptional soldier. He was sharp-minded, quick to learn, and eager to serve—whether it was extracting civilians from a combat zone or charging into the fray alongside his human handlers. He thrived on the work, finding pride in the missions and in aiding those who needed it. Travel was a perk he cherished; each new place brought new scents, new sights, and often, new canine acquaintances. More than once, he left behind descendants scattered across the world, a quiet legacy of his journeys.
That all ended in the chaos of an overseas mission gone wrong. A sudden explosion buried the team deep underground. For days, Ironhide listened to the fading breaths of his siblings as starvation and lack of air claimed them one by one. The humans never returned. When he was the last alive, he clawed and fought his way free, emerging into a world he no longer trusted. He walked away from the military and embraced a feral life, roaming alone until age began to slow him. Seeking shelter, he found a wolf pack willing to take him in, earning his place as a sentinel guarding their borders. In the quiet of his later years, he found love with a young fox-wolf hybrid, a final spark of peace before his death in battle against a bear—protecting his pack and the unborn litter he would never meet.
