Rosie

personality: for being a bounty hunter who has, at times, murdered people, rosie can be a surprisingly friendly person. sure, she's sarcastic and brutally honest at times, oftentimes instantly giving people nicknames on their most obvious trait, but she tries her best to at least get a laugh if not be the most polite, generous gift from god imaginable. even if you've been captured and you're being held hostage in her jeep, she'll at least let you pick the radio station for the drive to sunbeam and offer you a soda or three. and while she might seem a little blunt when operating as a part of normal society, she has nothing but good intentions for people whose names aren't on her list.

inwardly, rosie has had more than a few doubts about what she's doing from a moral perspective but knows that she's in too deep to give it up now- if she decided that what she was doing wasn't right, the magnitude of the crimes she's already committed would probably crush her. so rosie tries her best to stay as chill as possible, keeping up the same persona she created when she first got into her field and pretending to stay a good distance detached from her work.

history: rosie kinda grew up into a life of crime. rosie's birthplace, a small southwestern town known as sunbeam, arizona, was not so much an ordinary town as a front for a criminal organization based around finding some sort of powerful, mysterious object whose true purpose was known only to the small council of villagers who had been there the longest. from years of eavesdropping as a kid, all that rosie was able to find out was that this object was referred to as 'the grail', supposedly had the power to bring things to Earth from some far-off land, and that every person on the small council believed that this object would be able to end all problems in the world. despite this apparently altruistic purpose, however, Sunbeam has committed crime after crime of extortion, kidnapping, theft and murder to get closer to the grail. like most children growing up in Sunbeam rosie has just kind of accepted all of this as a part of life and as an adult is loyal to the Sunbeam cause, seeing as she's never known anything else.

rosie currently serves as a sort of 'bounty hunter' for sunbeam, although it's not so much about collecting bounty as it is hunting down and capturing enemies of sunbeam for interrogation. in addition, it's part of her job to help keep sunbeam appearing as a perfectly normal town which can mean, um, /requesting/ some people who know the truth to keep their mouth shut. despite all this, though, rosie still views herself as a good person- in her view, she's simply doing what's told of her and what her parents told her again and again was for the greater good of the world.

hobbies: board games, listening to hard rock, jackalope hunting
relationships: rosie's friends with wolfe since they grew up in the same area, and kinda knows tokala by association because of it. somehow along the way, as well, rosie ended up befriending aesop and nenya's tiny kid, fable, which is something fable's parents aren't exactly happy about but are having trouble stopping in its tracks. rosie is currently dating the robo-enthusiast pepper and the two are off on adventures around the country at the moment.
fun fact: rosie is extremely susceptible to cold weather, and is the type to don two scarves and a ski jacket if the temperature dips to as much as fifty-five degrees. give her heat stroke over a little bit of chilliness any day.
