Vega is incredibly lax about almost everything. He spends most of his day sleeping or laying around reading whatever he can get his hands on. There are days he goes out but they are rare and when he is out he's usually just wandering and doing nothing in particular. The only time Vega goes out with a purpose is to consume human souls.

Vega can live without a human soul for quite a long time; however he becomes even more lethargic and is incapable of using his demonic abilities. When he reaches his limit he sometimes even finds it hard to keep a solid form and can, at times, become slightly transparent due to his nature of controlling mist and steam. He has two methods of consuming the life energy of humans. The first method is to make a contract with a human; allowing him to slowly feed off of their soul to sustain him. The second is finding random humans and eating their entire soul at once. Making a contract is the best alternative, as it sustains both Vega and the human for a long period of time. Depending on the age of the human this can even last decades. Consuming a soul whole without a contract usually only lasts Vega one week to one and a half weeks.

He usually prefers eating souls whole as it means he doesn't have to deal with the emotions that come with having to live with someone. When Vega is in a contral with a human he must keep close to them, as distance can cause both of them a great deal of physical pain the farther apart they are. There is, of course, a way around this. Vega's curse is centralized on a pendant he keeps around his neck at all times; it's where all of his powers are sealed. If he were to allow the human he is contracted with to keep the pendant they could be any distance apart without hindrance. However if the pendant is destroyed Vega will lose all of his power and abilities permanently; which means giving his pendant to another person requires an enormous deal of trust on his part and he is usually unwilling to allow it.

Vega is the oldest of eight siblings along with his twin brother, Mikhail. The twins were neglected by their parents and Vega has harbored a strong resentment towards his mother, Batul, for the treatment they received. His relationship with his younger siblings are incredibly ranged--Vega gets along the best with Mikhail, incredibly attached to his twin brother. He gets along with Asha'il (4th), Rasha (5th), and Baqi (6th); cannot get along with Kamal (3rd); and doesn't know how to get along with Naila (7th) and Nagi (8th).

He and Mikhail were cursed by one of Mikhail's ex-girlfriends, forced to live off of the life energy of humans in order to have any use of their demonic energy. Vega now refuses to meet anyone that Mikhail has romantic interest in, and doesn't forgive him for his awful taste in partners.

Ending up in a contract with Aendal after the human tried to break into his house, Vega initially meant to use the contract as a consequence for Aendal's foolishness. Over time, Vega fell in love with the human he was draining the life energy from. There often come weeks and months where Vega refuses to feed off of Aendal, becoming incredibly upset by the fact that he is slowly killing the one he loves most dearly. When Vega goes too long without feeding, he becomes very ill, struggling to keep his own demonic energy from eating away at himself.
