Zirchan (pronounce ziUR-kin, or ZEER-kin) is actually composed of two beings. His head is actually a jack-o-lantern possessed by a demon named Bazir (BA-zeer) and his body is a dullahan named Orchan (OR-kin). Orchan lost his head in a game with a puca. He has no idea what the puca could have wanted with his head and now travels the world, searching for the puca to get it back. Bazir is a demon who lost his physical form when he failed to collect enough souls to enter Purgatory (a high-end demon academy, very exclusive). He was tasked to find a form and recollect his souls to try again for re-entry. Needless to say, this was quite the difficult task for a pumpkin, so when he saw poor Orchan wandering around without a head, he offered the dullahan his services. Orchan didn't exactly like the idea of the brash demon speaking for him, but finding a head with no eyes is nigh impossible. And so the unlikely duo teamed up to help one another out. When they find what they are looking for, who knows what will happen to them.
